Providing the maximum social, educational, humanitarian and financial benefits equitable access to education and training in AI is essential. The AILP3 aims to prepare today’s youth for an integrated future with artificial intelligence.
The AI Literacy Pipeline to Prosperity Project (AILP3) is a deliverable of the AI Ethics Council (AIEC).
AILP3 an Atlanta-based initiative, designed to give underserved populations the tools to participate meaningfully in the AI economy and be a major driver of global innovation and job creation.

WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE
Atlanta’s strong coalition of forward-thinking, well-established and respected institutions (local universities, Operation HOPE, Atlanta Mayor’s office, and corporate sponsors) provide credibility and resources needed for success.
During the 2024 HOPE Global Forums, Dean of the J.Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University, Richard Phillips, John Hope Bryant, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Operation HOPE, along with other Atlanta leaders in education, publicly announced their commitment to preparing our youth for a future that will be fully integrated with AI technology.
Atlanta Journal-Constitution
On December 11, 2024, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution published an article announcing the partnership between Operation HOPE and Georgia State University on a new artificial intelligence training program for students from underserved communities, primarily those in the south side of Atlanta.

Given the unique collaborative environment in our city- as evidenced by unparalleled academic collaboration and unique public/private and academic/corporate partnerships – Atlanta can be THE Hub for this initiative by:

Preliminary ideas for engaging students include:
- Research: Investigating AI topics and presenting findings.
- AI Ideation: Identifying ways AI can enhance student lives, communities, and the world.
- Innovation: Developing prototypes and beta versions of applications.
- Applications Lab (LAB-LANTA): A real-world lab for designing, testing, and refining ideas.
- AI Competitions: Showcasing top ideas from AI Labs to potential supporters, attracting funding and partnerships.
- Launching Ventures: Supporting the most promising ideas with funding, guidance, and tech assistance for commercialization.
