May is Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month. During this time, we celebrate and recognize the contributions and culture of our Asian/Asian American and Pacific Islander neighbors, friends, and family. There are many different cultures, ethnic identities, and nationalities that fit under the broad umbrella of AAPI. Each culture has its own special qualities and distinct narratives that each deserve to be highlighted and explored on their own.

Operation HOPE is proud to have members of the AAPI community as part of the HOPE family. Two of our financial wellbeing coaches, Rosnah Thomason and Bert Cabasares, sat down with the each other virtually to discuss how they encountered and learned about financial literacy in their homes and the importance of financial dignity in their respective Singaporean and Filipino cultures.
