Client Grant Opportunities

Even with the best budgeting and financial planning, sometimes a small unexpected expense can cause big problems.

Targeted, Game Changer Grants

Sometimes things happen. We can help.

We recognize sometimes when something unexpected happens, like a job loss, a car repair, a loss of housing or other unanticipated expense, even the best financial plans can be challenging. We may be able to provide you with one-time, financial assistance in small amounts for expenses that once paid can be a “game changer” towards achieving your goals.

Throughout our history, Operation HOPE has created temporary grant programs to provide a little financial assistance to help our clients stay on track with their expenses and meet the goals they and their financial coach have developed together.

Helping Hand Fund

Helping Hand Fund (HHF) was created as an additional tool to help HOPE clients during financially challenging times caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. These grants are intended to be one-time, “Game Changers” that will significantly help you (i) meet a temporary financial, rental assistance need, and (ii) better position yourself to achieve the longer term financial plan that you have created with your HOPE Financial Wellbeing Coach. Due to an overwhelming applicant response, this grant opportunity has been suspended and no further applications are being accepted at this time.

New Grant Opportunities

We will continue to work to identify situations where limited financial assistance can be helpful and will roll out new grant opportunities where we see the greatest need and as our funding permits. Please continue to check back for information on any future grant opportunities.

If you haven’t already, enroll as a HOPE client to connect with a coach to start your journey to a better financial future.

Testimonials

“Thank you so much Operation HOPE for your assistance. During trying times, it’s difficult to sometimes make ends meet, especially when you have more bills than money due to this pandemic. I was referred to Operation HOPE a little over a year ago and they have helped me tremendously with my credit issues which is also raising my credit score, and my confidence in reaching my goals. They also helped me with their Mini Grant program which was a huge help to keep me on my path to better credit.”
“As a single parent navigating the pandemic, I had to overcome job loss, loss of child care and school closings. Thanks to the Helping Hand Fund I received $2500 to pay my rent back rent. This allowed me to keep my apartment, and renew my lease.”
