Kevin Boucher

EVP, Chief Communications and Strategy Officer

For nearly three decades, Kevin Boucher has been providing impact-driven solutions that fuel economic vitality, business growth, community wellbeing and employee engagement. He has been instrumental in helping launch, transform and turnaround top-tier organizations from both the public and private sectors.

He currently serves as Chief Communications Officer and Strategy Officer for Operation HOPE, where he is responsible for bringing the “voice of HOPE” to life through thought-leadership initiatives and events, marketing, communications, and digital strategies. He leads the annual HOPE Global Forums, the largest gathering in the world focused on the empowerment of the poor, which has convened leaders including President Bill Clinton, Jack Dorsey, Deepak Chopra, Tom Brokaw, Fed Chair Ben Bernanke, Al Gore, Fortune 100 CEO’s and Nobel Prize winners.

Kevin is passionate about developing innovative approaches to economic development – collaborations aimed at boosting the economic and social health of communities and countries. He has been at the forefront of initiatives that create shared success for business, government and the workforce. He has developed and guided transformation strategies for organizations including the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, California State University, Sony, CVS, Special Olympics, MTV and Public Storage.

He is a Special Consultative Member of the United Nations Economic and Social Development Council, serves as an Associate Member of the U.N. Department of Public Information/NGO’s and in 2018 and 2019 was appointed to help lead the U.N. Global NGO Conference in New York City.

Kevin was tapped to manage President Clinton’s first presidential campaign for Southern California, in addition to providing advance work for the President in the state.

As Director of Economic Development for the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, he was charged with helping lead the city past a tumultuous period of corporate headquarter and movie industry defections, recession, riots and earthquakes. He was later appointed to lead the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce, where he reimagined their signature event, the L.A. Open PGA golf tournament and launched over 40 new community initiatives and projects for the city, responsible for over $3 million in annual community investment.

Kevin has been profiled by the Los Angeles Times, NBC News and CNN served as a contributor to HuffPost and Thrive Global, a Board Member of the L.A.P.D. Foundation, two-terms on the Granada Hills City Council, and a member of the McKinsey Executive Research Panel.
