GULFPORT, Ms., April 6, 2023 – Cadence Bank (NYSE: CADE) and Operation HOPE have joined together to provide a free financial education and counseling program through a new HOPE Inside office in Gulfport, Mississippi. The HOPE Inside office is part of the bank’s nearly $1.5 million investment to Operation HOPE for financial literacy programs over the next year.

The HOPE Inside office, which is located within Cadence Bank’s location at Richburg Hall 1316 30th Ave. Gulfport, Mississippi 39501, offers financial counseling and information about credit and money management and homeownership to underserved residents in Mobile. Derrick Jackson, a certified financial coach from Operation HOPE, is available to meet with individuals from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT on Mondays through Fridays. All services are offered to the public free of charge.

Operation HOPE will use the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s Money Smart curriculum at the HOPE Inside office as part of its financial education program. Cadence Bank is a longtime supporter of Money Smart and Operation HOPE.
Cadence Bank and Operation HOPE have been aligned since 2017 with the launch of their HOPE Inside location in Memphis, Tennessee. Its new HOPE Inside office in Gulfport is one of two new locations opening across Cadence Bank’s footprint this year.
