The Airport Minority Advisory Council marked 40 years at its annual Airport Business Conference, and I joined Farad Ali for a fireside chat at the general session. Marc Morial of the National Urban League also addressed the room.
Airports are some of the biggest economic engines in any city. Making sure minority- and women-owned businesses have a real share of that work is economic empowerment in action.
