Jennifer Tescher of the Financial Health Network had me on the EMERGE Everywhere podcast to look back at thirty years of Operation HOPE.
We started with the bus tour I led through South Central Los Angeles after the 1992 unrest, taking bankers and business leaders to see the disinvestment for themselves. Operation HOPE grew out of that ride. We talked about what three decades of this work have taught me about financial inclusion and building Black wealth.
