The Urban Land Institute’s Memphis chapter invited me to keynote RegionSmart 2018, its annual gathering of developers, planners and civic leaders.
I told the room that a city’s real infrastructure is its people: their credit scores, their savings and their small businesses. Build that, and the buildings follow.
