Two ideas from my conversation on Butternomics are worth sharing on their own.
The first is the Silver Tsunami. Trillions of dollars sit in profitable businesses owned by baby boomers who are ready to retire and have no one to hand them to. Before you exhaust yourself building a startup from scratch, get to know the business owners in your community and learn how to buy what already works.
The second is economic power. Boycotts get attention. Buy-outs get respect. Coordinate your spending on purpose, show up in numbers for a Black-owned product, and make the sales data impossible to ignore.
