We Don’t Have Time asked me to open its Climate Action News One-on-One series with a question that was on everyone’s mind that spring: what can the coronavirus crisis teach us about facing the climate crisis?
Both are tests of whether we prepare before the storm or pay for it after. And in both, the people with the least savings and the weakest credit get hit first and hardest. Resilience is economic before it is anything else.
