The Child Savings Account (CSA) program, managed by Operation HOPE, gives young students and their families a head start on saving for post-secondary education and career development. Through partnerships with cities and school districts, each participating kindergartener receives a seed deposit and access to financial literacy tools designed to equip them—and their caregivers—with long-term skills for success.

Atlanta, GA
The HOPE Child Savings Account Program provides every eligible Atlanta Public Schools kindergartener with a $50 savings deposit to support future education or career training. Managed by Operation HOPE, the program also includes long-term financial literacy education for students and families, with support from the City of Atlanta and a decade-long commitment to growth.
Aurora, IL
Aurora’s Promise Children’s Savings Program offers eligible kindergartners in D131 and D129 a conditional $50 scholarship account, redeemable upon high school graduation and college acceptance. Families must opt in, and participants receive a Welcome Kit, ongoing support, and tools to begin saving for their child’s future.
