JHB on MSNBC: People aren’t lazy, they’re experiencing a hope deficit.

Operation HOPE Founder, Chairman, and CEO John Hope Bryant made an appearance on MSNBC with Stephanie Ruhle to discuss the recent phenomenon of employers inability to fill many of their available roles. Some feel that the federal supplemental unemployment assistance has created a sense of apathy and lack of urgency to return to work. Chairman Bryant, however, feels that its a signal that many Americans are simply demanding a higher standard of living and refuse to return to the dignity of work for undignified pay. What he have, he argues, is a hope deficit.
